Dow Thailand Group is currently looking for Global Citizenship Specialist position based in Bangkok office.  You will mainly focus on working in support of Dow's Global Citizenship strategy and corporate social responsibility such as:

In this role, you will require understanding of key business drivers for your discipline and function. You will need to be able to expand conceptual and working knowledge related to your discipline or functional area. You are expected to provide informal guidance to new team members and be able to explain complex information to others.

It is your responsibility to use technical experience, established practices, and personal judgement to analyze and resolve straightforward problems. Your performance impacts the quality of your own work and your team’s work and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies.

 

It is your responsibility to use established procedures and practice to analyze and resolve standard problems. You will be accountable for assigned contributions with no direct supervisory responsibilities. Your performance impacts your own work with limited impact on your team. You will need to use established procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities – Duties, projects, tasks, and activities you would be responsible for in this role

• Implements budgeting, planning and payment database for charitable contributions
• Lead in planning and implementing the Global citizenship program and corporate social responsibly projects and events
• Provides problem solving counsel and solutions to colleagues with respect to local corporate citizenship programs
• Develops and implements communications strategies that bring brand value and recognition to Dow’s corporate citizenship efforts
• Professionally work with project partners for project completion and success.
•  Build and maintain strong good relationships with the partners and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of related professional experience in Public Affairs, Corporate Social Responsibly program
• Experience in budgetary planning, accounting and financial reconciliation
• Broad knowledge of corporate responsibility trends and expectations, Dow’s business strategy and objectives to build authentic and impactful corporate citizenship initiatives
• Strong written communication and speaking skills
• Proficient in English writing and speaking. TOEIC score at 800 min.
• Able to travel and work in Rayong and Bangkok due to assignment
• Flexibility work during the weekend or off-hours. 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Collaboration: Sets clear expectations, roles, and success measures with partners. Proven ability to collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver global corporate citizenship initiatives, balancing strategic alignment with effective execution.
• Interpersonal: able to build trust with diverse stakeholders, works well across cultures and time zones, professional maturity to represent Dow externally
• Budgeting & Financial Management: Experience in budget planning, tracking, and financial reconciliation, managing charitable contribution budgets and payment database, High attention to compliance, accuracy, and governance
